Growing food in Harehills project - Thursday 25 March 2010

 Shine is working in partnership with students at Leeds Metropolitan University on a community project to encourage domestic food growing in Harehills and Chapeltown.  The project is being sponsored by BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers), NHS Leeds and Shine.

Competition - Seat for Shine

Shine, Leeds’ award-winning conference, meetings and event venue, has partnered with two of the leading academic institutions in Leeds to run a design competition entitled a ‘Seat for Shine’.

A competition has been running over the last few months at Leeds College Art and Design and Leeds Metropolitan University to design a seat for SHINE.

The seat must demonstrate the relationship between the SHINE environment, interior or exterior.
