Shine is working in partnership with students at Leeds Metropolitan University on a community project to encourage domestic food growing in Harehills and Chapeltown. The project is being sponsored by BTCV (British Trust for Conservation Volunteers), NHS Leeds and Shine. Students from the University will be showcasing their designs in an exhibition at Shine until 8 April 2010, portraying their ideas for the garden, neighbourhood and the future. The event will be open for the community from 1500 until 1930 and speakers will include Leeds' Councillor Roger Harrington and John Preston of BTCV.
