Public Art Exhibition and Copy/Paste 12 September 2011

We're currently gearing up for the next curated show as part of Love Arts Leeds festival but there's still another opportunity to browse and buy from our inaugural show, Copy/Paste.

The show features a staggering 365 pieces of original art work making Shine the largest selling gallery in Leeds at the moment. ‘Copy/Paste’ presents artworks utilising or referencing digital imaging techniques, from artists working in a range of dis...ciplines including graphic design, printmaking, photography, sculptural installation, performance. Added to this we have now started stocking prints and cards of the work on show.

Artists represented throughout the gallery are Annie Devereux, Calum Paterson, Carla Moss, Catherine Scriven, Daniel Shiel, Debi Holbrook, Emma Fotherby, Eva Mileusnic, Gillian Holding, Helen Entwistle, Ian Mitchell, Janet Jones, Jeff Singleton, Jo Dunn, Julia Bickerstaff, June Russell, Kate Burton, Kirsteen Ashton, Liz West, Madelaine MacKay, Matthew Forster, Max Rushton, Miriam Trent, Oliver Neilson, Paul Digby, Paul Hudson, Paul Miller, Philip Welding, Rebbecca Kill, Robert Sharples, Samantha Hodgson, Stef Mitchell and William Schofield.

As part of Shine Gallery's cultural offering, we are also commissioning a new piece of public art for the community. This has been put out to tender, and designs by shortlisted artists will be on display for you to give your feedback on. We will also be featuring special performances throughout the evening, more details to follow.
